The Marketing Representative is responsible for the overall marketing and promotion of Wekiva Springs’ programs and services while maximizing referral potentials from assigned referral accounts and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the Strategic Marketing Plan. Territory serving: Jacksonville and surrounding area. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. A minimum of two (2) years in health care business development, healthcare marketing and sales, contract management environment with measurable business development results, pharmaceutical/medical sales, and a basic knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred. Special Qualification: Must have a valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in the past (3) years. Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures. Employee must be able to write reports and business correspondence. Possess excellent telephone and people skills, and good negotiation skills. Works well in developing and maintaining referral resources, and educating them of the services provided within Wekiva Springs. Has the ability to identify and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to motivate and communicate well with people in crisis and to overcome objections/denial. Employee can communicate effectively and diplomatically with other departments, and with clients. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 to 20 pounds. Must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate over the telephone and in front of audiences. Must be able to operate a vehicle, and is able to commute to various locations in around Central Florida. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
