Bartender/Server PositionRioja is seeking skilled and innovative bartenders/servers to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that fosters learning and growth. A professional appearance and demeanor are mandatory.Duties and Responsibilities:Must have a keen eye for detail and organization.Contributes to daily, holiday, and themed drink menus in collaboration with the supervisor.Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.Must have a general understanding of professional kitchen sanitation protocol.Must be willing to learn and adapt to situations and procedural changes as decided by the managementGreeting and seating guestsTaking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the POS systemMaking menu item recommendationsCommunicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staffEnsuring all orders are filled quickly and accuratelyGuarantee patrons an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service.Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessaryPerforming cleaning duties; keeping a clean service station and polished dining areaSkills and Qualifications:Employment requires at least 2 years of fine dining experience and minimum of 3 professional referencesExcellent customer service and a friendly demeanorExceptional organization and time managementEffective written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling proceduresWine Knowledge a must (wine certification preferred)Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu detailsComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentWilling to work full-time with day, night, and weekend availability.Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassistedCompensation: Denver minimum wage plus tipsBenefits:Family MealHealth insurance, Vision, and Dental for full time employeesPaid Sick Leave50% off for you and one other person at your restaurant of employment.Competitive compensation based on experience and performanceWelcome to the Crafted Concepts Family!
