Sr. Project Manager

Sr. Project Manager - Commercial Senior Project Manager (Commercial/Industrial Construction) I'm partnering with a well-established commercial/industrial general contractor seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Do: Oversee full project lifecycle including budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and quality execution Lead pre-construction efforts, bid preparation, and proposal delivery Run project kickoffs, secure permits, and coordinate inspections with governing authorities Ensure subcontractor contracts are executed (target: 90% within 30 days of owner contract) Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams Manage schedules, weekly reporting, cost projections, and invoice approvals Issue and track RFIs, RFPs, and change orders Conduct regular site visits to ensure progress, safety, and quality standards are met Resolve project issues proactively and escalate when needed Lead and mentor Project Managers and field teams; support performance management and training Assist with client presentations and help identify new business opportunities What They're Looking For: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field 7-10+ years managing commercial/industrial construction projects Strong experience with drawings, specs, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive performance Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and inspection requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Viewpoint Vista is a plus) OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain), plus additional safety certifications within the first year Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel as needed with a valid driver's license This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and takes ownership of delivering top-tier construction projects.
