About S&P Global MobilityS&P Global has recently announced the intent to separate our Mobility Segment into a standalone public company.For more information, visit www.spglobal.com/mobility.As a Senior Data Program Leader, you will own the orchestration, evolution, and execution of the company's multi-year data strategy and roadmap across a newly integrated and complex data ecosystem.You will partner closely with Data Architecture, Engineering, Product, and executive stakeholders to translate strategic data priorities into actionable, and measurable programs. This role sits at the center of strategy, execution, and stakeholder alignment assuring that our data investments deliver business value at scale.You will operate at the intersection of vision, planning, and delivery. Driving alignment across a federated organization while managing the realities of legacy systems, ongoing integration, and evolving priorities.A Successful Senior Data Program Leader WillOwn the data strategy execution and roadmapTranslate data strategy into a prioritized, multi-year roadmap spanning platforms, data products, governance, and analytics capabilitiesContinuously evolve the roadmap based on business priorities, integration milestones, and technology changesEstablish clear value realization frameworks, milestones, and success metricsDrive program orchestration across a complex ecosystemLead cross-functional data programs spanning multiple teams (Data Engineering, Architecture, Product, Business units)Coordinate dependencies across Sales Solutions platforms, data domains, and initiativesEngage and influence senior stakeholdersPartner with senior business and technology leaders to align on priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffsDrive executive-level communication, including roadmap reviews, program updates, and decision forumsAct as a trusted advisor, helping stakeholders understand investment needs, risks, and expected outcomesSupport funding, business cases, and value articulationDevelop and socialize business cases to secure funding for data initiativesClearly articulate ROI, cost drivers, and value realization tied to data investmentsPartner with Finance and leadership to align funding with strategic prioritiesEnable delivery excellenceEnsure programs are structured for successful execution, including scope clarity, resource alignment, and risk managementIdentify and remove blockers across organizational and technical boundariesDrive accountability for outcomes while supporting teams operating in agile delivery modelsChampion data literacy and organizational alignmentHelp translate data strategy into language that resonates across business and technical stakeholdersPromote alignment around data as a strategic asset and enabler of growthSupport change management efforts tied to data initiativesWho You AreStrategic program leader with data domain expertise10+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in data, analytics, or technology transformation environmentsProven track record of delivering multi-year roadmaps and enterprise programs with measurable business impactStrong executive presence and influenceExperience working directly with senior leadership to shape strategy and drive alignmentExceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and build consensusDeep understanding of data ecosystemsFamiliarity with modern data architecture, platforms, and concepts (e.g., data products, data governance, data platforms, lakehouse/medallion patterns)Ability to engage meaningfully with architects and engineers without being hands-onProgram and portfolio management expertiseStrong experience in program structuring, dependency management, and risk mitigationExperience balancing strategic planning with agile execution modelsSkilled in defining KPIs, OKRs, and value realization frameworksExperience developing business cases, and aligning investments to outcomesUnderstanding of budgeting, forecasting, and ROI modeling for technology initiativesComfortable operating in ambiguity, especially in post-merger or transformation contextsIndustry Experience (preferred)Automotive, mobility, or similarly data-intensive industries preferredRight to work requirements: This role is limited for candidates with indefinite right to work within the USA or Canada.Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $108,388 to $160,151. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
