ACT is looking for team members who are passionate about creativity and innovation and looking to make a difference every day.Position SummaryThe Controller plays a key leadership role in driving financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. This position oversees all accounting operations while partnering with leadership to support growth and business performance.ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting operations, including general ledger and close processesEnsure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAPManage accounts payable, receivable, and fixed asset accountingLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisProvide variance analysis and actionable insights to leadershipMaintain and strengthen internal controls and compliance processesCoordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditorsOversee tax compliance and government reporting requirementsDrive process improvements and system enhancementsLead and develop accounting and finance team membersCollaborate cross-functionally with leadership and operational teamsLead financial integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitionsRequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership rolesStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAPExperience in a mid-sized or growth-oriented company preferredM&A experience is a plusStrong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel and ERP system experience (Epicor a plus)Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR restrictions.ACT offers competitive pay, excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, company-paid life & disability insurance, 401(k) match, and profit-sharing), and a supportive team environment.ACT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
