AI Java Developer (W2)

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications and microservices in cloud environments.Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Large Language Models.Lead modernization efforts from legacy platforms to distributed, cloud-native architectures.Build and implement AI/ML solutions in production environments.Champion CI/CD, automation, code quality, testing, and engineering best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available, high-transaction systems.Mentor engineers and establish standards for AI-enabled software development.Required Experience7+ years of software engineering experience with Java, Spring, cloud technologies, and web services.2+ years of hands-on AI/ML implementation and production deployment experience.Experience with microservices, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or PCF).Experience working with Large Language Models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.Experience with system modernization and digital transformation initiatives.Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions in a collaborative environment.Knowledge of broker-dealer operations or financial services platforms.Preferred QualificationsFinancial services industry experience.Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and QA automation.Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
