Director of Product Security

We are working with a high impact client that is searching for a Director of Product Security who will directly own security outcomes for internally developed systems, operated infrastructure, and treasury-related responsibilities.This role focuses on raising the practical security baseline across a decentralized financial environment that includes wallets, infrastructure providers, custodians, issuers, validators, and other critical participants.The right candidate will combine technical credibility, sound judgment, and strong execution to help make security a lasting strength of both the organization and its broader network.Requirements: 10+ years of experience in security, including significant senior leadership experience5+ years leading security programs, teams, or functions with meaningful scopeA proven track record of owning security outcomes for complex, high-impact systems in productionDeep experience in product and application security, with strong hands-on judgmentStrong familiarity with blockchain and decentralized system securityThe ability to assess and prioritize risks across areas such as protocol design, smart contracts, wallets, validators, dependencies, and governance mechanismsExperience driving security improvements across multiple teams or organizations, including without direct authorityStrong incident response judgment, including handling high-severity incidents and disclosure processesA pragmatic approach to security, balancing real-world risk reduction with practical tradeoffsExperience building and developing high-performing security teamsThe ability to set strategy, execute effectively, and deliver measurable outcomesClear communication skills and credibility with engineers, executives, and external stakeholdersIf you would like to know more details about this position, please reach out directly at kunal@harrisonclarke.com.
