CT Technologist

Job Overview Join a dedicated imaging team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. This vital role involves performing a full range of CT procedures to generate high-quality cross-sectional images that aid in diagnostic analysis. The technologist is responsible for patient preparation, safe operation of advanced CT equipment, and ensuring compliance with all imaging protocols and safety standards, particularly those related to radiation exposure. Key Responsibilities Operate sophisticated CT scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images of the human anatomy. Prepare patients for procedures, including assessment, education, and IV contrast administration under supervision. Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols, including ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles. Ensure all patient data and imaging studies are accurately documented in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Perform routine quality control checks on equipment to maintain optimal image clarity and performance. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification by the primary national registry (e.g., in Radiography) and specialization certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
