Apply via Dice today!Windows Engineer-VirtualizationRemote RoleLong term contractMust Haves:5+ years VMWare experience.5+ years Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience (VMWare or other products)3+ years Ansible/SCCM experience.Experience with scripting and automation.TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:7+ years related system engineering/Infrastructure and customer support experience.Extensive experience related to security in Microsoft Server 2008R2, 2012 and 20165+ years experience in enterprise corporate infrastructure design, implementation and troubleshooting,5+ years with both Microsoft Server 2008R2, 2012 and 2016.5+ years experience with VMWare 5.x and 6.x5+ years experience with Active Directory5+ years supporting Datacenter co-located equipment.Extensive experience in supportExperience with knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix Operating systemsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, networking and security conceptsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to apply them during business impacting incidents.Capable of mentor others and lead by example.Project Management, Problem Solving, People Management.Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factorsExtensive knowledge and experience in addressing and remediating Windows server and VMware vulnerabilities.Extensive knowledge and experience in Server Hardening methodologiesExtensive knowledge of the use of SCCM to deploy and install Microsoft Security updates
