Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.Required: TS/SCI with a PolygraphDescriptionWill be an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team. Responsible for the automation of requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management. Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements, link source documents, and architecture. The Systems Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure. In addition, the Systems Engineer shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as part of a solution to identify, engineer, and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issuesAutomate DDI workflows to improve efficiencyProvide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6Maintain awareness of the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practicesIndividual Capabilities/Experience RequiredTwenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Ability to obtain DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shootingProven experience designing and implementing DDI solutionsExperience with load balancing technologiesStrong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools a plusIndividual Capabilities/Experience DesiredDNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of InfobloxIn-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principlesFamiliar with developing modern business methods, and identifying best practicesExperienced with executing as key coordinator between multiple project teamsThemis Insight has all the PERKS!You are our most valuable resource — your ambition, your knowledge, your creativity.
