St Monica Center for Rehab and Healthcare - Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead the dietary department of our Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of long-term care regulations, clinical nutrition coordination, food safety standards, and team development.This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality meal service, regulatory compliance, sanitation standards, therapeutic diet accuracy, and overall resident satisfaction.Oversee daily operations of the dietary department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulationsEnsure compliance with CMS, state survey requirements, and sanitation standardsCoordinate closely with Registered Dietitian, Nursing, and Administration regarding resident nutritional needsEnsure accuracy of therapeutic diets, meal delivery systems, and tray line processesMaintain kitchen sanitation and food safety standards (ServSafe guidelines)Manage food ordering, inventory control, and budget adherenceSupervise, schedule, and train dietary staffParticipate in care plan meetings as neededPrepare for and successfully navigate state and federal surveysMaintain documentation, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and production recordsCertified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential requiredServSafe Certification requiredPrior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferredStrong knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations in long-term careExperience managing staff and department budgetsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teamsCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time offSupportive leadership team
