Your JobWe are seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate high‑quality software solutions that deliver business value. In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative engineering team responsible for developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems using modern development practices.You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing support—while partnering closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders.Our TeamThe Koch Technology Identity team provides modern Identity solutions and services for all Koch businesses. We are responsible for the entire enterprise in designing innovative services, creating, and sharing best practices, and providing support for our services.This role requires a presence in our Wichita, KS / Atlanta, GA / or Plano, TX officeThis role is not eligible for VISA sponsorshipWhat You Will DoDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services using modern programming languages and frameworksCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutionsDesign APIs, services, and data integrations that are scalable, secure, and performantWrite clean, well‑tested, and maintainable code following engineering best practicesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to shared quality standardsSupport production systems by diagnosing issues, resolving defects, and improving reliabilityContribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and development tooling to improve delivery speed and qualityContinuously learn and apply new technologies, patterns, and practicesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Professional experience building and supporting production software systemsProficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)Experience with web services, APIs, and distributed systemsFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflowsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑based environmentStrong problem‑solving skills and attention to detailWhat Will Put You AheadExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with AI augmented development, microservices, event driven architectures, and graph database technologiesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code practicesExposure to agile or iterative development methodologiesExperience working in large‑scale or enterprise environmentsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
