Job Description Job Title: Test Analyzer TechnicianCompany: Aimtron GroupLocation: Palatine, ILDepartment: ProductionEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryAimtron is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician to support our electronic manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electronic assemblies and systems. This is not an entry-level position and requires practical knowledge of electronic test procedures and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform functional and diagnostic testing on PCB assemblies and electronic systemsTroubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies down to component levelInterpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationOperate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test systemsRecord test results and maintain accurate documentation of failures and repairsWork closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issuesSupport new product introduction (NPI) testing and validation activitiesEnsure compliance with quality standards and company proceduresIdentify process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and accuracyRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience in electronic testing or related field (EMS environment preferred)Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and assembliesAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical drawingsExperience using test and measurement equipmentGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and quality Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical certification in Electronics or related fieldExperience in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industryFamiliarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and diagnostic skillsEffective communication and teamworkTime management and ability to meet production deadlines Company DescriptionAimtron began in 2009, despite the great economic hardships at the time.
