OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.DutiesConduct thorough patient assessments and triage to determine the urgency of care needed.Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.Participate in clinical trials by assisting with patient recruitment, data collection, and monitoring.Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in diagnosing and treating patients effectively.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.Provide hospital medicine services, including managing inpatient care and coordinating with specialists.Manage data related to patient outcomes and treatment efficacy to improve overall care delivery.Support nursing home visits as needed, ensuring continuity of care for residents.ExperienceCandidates should possess the following qualifications:A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).Prior experience in triage, medication administration, or clinical trials is preferred.Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various medical systems.Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.Previous experience in hospital medicine or nursing home settings is a plus.Join our team to make a meaningful impact on patient health while advancing your career as a Physician Assistant.Job Type: Full-timePay: $148,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offMedical Specialty:Internal MedicineSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOn callAbility to Commute:Port Orange, FL 32127 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Port Orange, FL 32127: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
