Job DescriptionShipping & Receiving / Trainee for Mechanic, Sales, or AdministrativeProcess all shipments that come through our industrial product distribution office and our pump repair facility.· Attention to detail to verify correct parts and paperwork· Processing through Quickbooks· Labeling to customer specifications· Quickbooks build assemblies· Utilizing shipping carrier systems, UPS, Fed Ex, R&L, etc.· Processing seals for repair – identifying, cleaning, entering in Quickbooks· See detailed shipping and receiving proceduresInventory control at both locationsCut and package packing setsBuild liquid level gaugesMonthly replacement of air filtersLawn and parking lot upkeepOffice maintenance such as lightbulbs, keeping supplies in stockShipping suppliesShipping area cleaned, trash taken outAssist repair shop coordinator with job task list in Outlook· Back up for scheduling of jobs· Understand job categories, to help keep updated· Help complete/organize job folders with parts lists, drawings, required data sheets· Keep parts bins organized and currentAssist mechanics as neededForklift useAttend safety meetingsCompany Rotaserv has two locations, a repair facility of centrifugal equipment with machining capabilities in Rowlett, and an administrative office in Richardson. We repair MRO equipment for steel mills, paper mills, food plants, HVAC for universities, hospitals, and high-rise buildings. We are a distributor for fluid sealing products and are authorized distributors of Inpro bearing protection, AES mechanical seals and Slade leak free packing. These are our flagship product lines as well as other fluid sealing products and pump equipment that we repair. We service a variety of industries with critical equipment applications that are necessary production requirements, making this a very interesting job for the right person.This position can take you into an administrative role, mechanic or sales, depending upon your goals. Rotaserv has been in business since 1978 and the repair department was started in 2001. We are a small company that provides a service to all major industries.
