Overview We are seeking a dedicated House Team Lead to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of CARMENS HOUSE The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care and support to residents in a home environment. This is a group home for ID/DD individuals. Duties - Manage the overall functioning of the household, including scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing staff - Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by implementing appropriate behavioral health practices - Handle crisis intervention situations effectively and with compassion - Maintain accurate records through data collection and entry for resident care plans - Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments as needed - Coordinate home community care services and liaise with healthcare providers - Engage in social work activities to enhance residents' quality of life ( community outings ) - Manage emails, phone calls, mail, and coordinate meetings. Ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication within the environment - Lead staff development with training, manage and supervise rehabilitation programs, and ensure the proper upkeep of the housing facilities Requirements - Experience in behavioral health or related field is preferred - Proficiency in conflict management and crisis intervention techniques - Certification in first aid and medication administration is REQUIRED. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Knowledge of data collection methods for maintaining accurate records - Previous experience in social work or caregiving roles is beneficial AND A MUST HAVE. - Microsoft Office (word, excel) experience. - Experience in a group home is REQUIRED Avalibility Monday-Friday; Weekends if needed 7am-4pm mostly but willingly to stay later or pick up shifts when needed ( sick leaves , call outs , vacation days , inclement weather ) Ideal Candidates Has ID/DD background experience , human service background , behavioral health background, residential group home experience , direct support background , flexible schedule Military/Veterans , College Graduates are ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
