Full Stack Developer

*Full Stack Developer* *About Us* Data Design Systems specializes in custom software development, delivering tailored solutions that help businesses run smarter. We're seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling the applications at the heart of what we do. *The Role* As a Full Stack Developer, you'll work across the entire stack — designing and building RESTful APIs, writing clean and maintainable PHP, managing MySQL databases, and deploying to Linux environments. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features that make a real impact for our users. *What You'll Do* * Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and backend services * Build and consume JSON-based APIs and integrations with third-party services * Write clean, well-tested, object-oriented code in PHP 8.0+ * Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL database schemas and queries * Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in Linux environments * Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices * Debug and resolve issues across the full application stack *Required Qualifications* * Proven experience with *API development* (RESTful design, authentication, versioning, documentation) * Strong working knowledge of *JSON* for data interchange and API payloads * Solid experience with *MySQL* — schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning * Professional experience with *PHP 8.0 or higher*, including modern language features (typed properties, attributes, enums, match expressions) * Comfortable working in *Linux* environments — command line, server administration, and deployment *Nice to Have* * Experience with a modern PHP framework (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) * Frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a framework like React or Vue * Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines * Experience with Docker or other containerization tools * Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) * Understanding of web security best practices What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Flexible work arrangements / PTO policy *How to Apply* Send your resume and a brief note about a project you're proud of to *hello@datadesignsystmes.com *.
