Fabrication Shop Helper

Job Description A manufacturing facility in the Northwest Houston area is seeking a dependable Shop Helper to support daily production and shop operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are mechanically inclined, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities:Assist production staff with daily shop tasksLoad, unload, and move materials, parts, and finished products within the shopPerform basic measurements using a tape measure to ensure job accuracyUse common hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and wire cuttersAssist with basic power tool operation including drills and saws (preferred)Follow shop safety procedures, work instructions, and supervisor direction Requirements:Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with toolsAbility to read a tape measure accurately is requiredSteel-toe boots requiredBasic knowledge of hand tools required; power tool experience preferredMust have a valid Driver's License.Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a shop environment
