Testing AssistantThis is a district-wide position and may require work to be performed at multiple campuses or locations as needed.The Testing Assistant provides professional administrative support in coordinating and delivering a variety of standardized testscomputer-based, manual, and onlinethrough the Hill College Testing Center. This position ensures the smooth operation of daily testing activities, assists with scheduling and recordkeeping, maintains testing security, and contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of departmental functions.Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred.Minimum Required Experience: Two years of clerical or administrative support experience. Preferred: Work experience in secondary or higher education and experience in testing administration, guidance, training, or advising.Core Duties and Required Knowledge: Perform general administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, maintaining files, ordering supplies, and greeting students, staff, and visitors. Coordinate appointments, answer direct calls, and prepare correspondence. Assist in departmental projects, services, and activities related to the Student Services division. Process purchase requisitions, invoices, and budget-related documents. Support student recruitment, retention, and success through accurate information and referrals. Assist students with admissions, course changes, and assessment processes. Maintain records and enter data into Jenzabar, Docubase, or other Hill College systems. Serve as a test examiner and proctor exams offered through the Testing Center. Ensure test material security and follow established Testing Center procedures. Notify supervisor of testing irregularities or security issues.College admissions, registration, and testing procedures. General office practices, including records management and customer service. Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment operation. Hill College mission, vision, and policies. Jenzabar or comparable student information systems. Occasional evening and weekend work required during peak testing periods. This is a security-sensitive position.Physical Requirements: Light work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for sedentary work.
