In a high - volume luxury environment, this role ensures seamless operations by maintaining optimal inventory levels, securing high quality products, and supporting uninterrupted service delivery . This position plays a critical role in bridging vendor relationships with internal storeroom operations, ensuring clear communication , accurate forecasting, and efficient product flow.RESPONSIBILITIES :Staffing, Training, and Supervision Interview and hire Storeroom Clerks and Storeroom Crew LeaderExplain and educate employees on storeroom procedures, products, and organizationHelp train and supervise storeroom personnel in all storeroom locations on all software procedures, products, and organizationInventory Management & Product Ordering Assist the Purchasing Manager in day-to-day buying supplies, tracking deliveries, and making sure supplies arrive on timeInventory control, lead day-to-day and month-end inventories and quarterly physical stock-takes for all storeroomsCompile all orders in a timely fashion to ensure no shortages or outages occurOrder wine for The Brass Tag, Cast and Cut Seafood, Fireside, Royal Street Cafe, East Village, and future outletsCoordinate all goods deliveries and pick-upsMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast needsPurchasing, Accounting, Vendor Relations, and Oversight Execute daily purchase orders for all Food, Beverage including beer, liquor, wine, also janitorial and other supplies on business demand and par levelsMaintain acurate procurement records and documentationsImplement and monitor strict security protocols for high-value assets, incuding liquor, wine, and foodCoor dinate closely with internal departments to understand what's needs and when, so the company avoids shortages or overstockingFollow-up on orders to ensure correct delivery datesMake plant visits to various suppliers from time to time to remain familiar with their operationReview seasonal menus with Director of Beverage and all the chefs from each location and divisionMaintain an approved vendor list, auditing performance for quality, puntuality , and price complianceDiscuss with vendor s information related to product, price, availability, service. and delivery dateOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: 2-3 years of work-related experience in working with food or in purchasingMust be 21 years or olderStrong communication skillsProficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs regularlyDATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Flex Year Round - may have periods of layoff or reduced hoursPAY: $65-70K annuallyDeer Valley is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
