The engineer will build reusable platform capabilities and data products enabling quantitative researchers to discover, access, and consume data across a complex data landscape, then accelerate promising prototypes into production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and enhance platform capabilities within Databricks and related technologiesBuild reusable data products and self-service capabilitiesDesign and maintain data pipelines and integration frameworksImprove data quality, reliability, lineage, and monitoringPartner with researchers to prototype solutions and establish patterns that streamline research-to-production deliveryMandatory Skills8+ years of platform and data solutions experienceHands-on Databricks experience (workspace, notebooks, jobs) and platform capability developmentPythonSQLModern CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform strongly preferred)Data governance and observability (Unity Catalog, lineage, monitoring)Orchestration (Airflow)AI fluency — hands-on use of AI agents (Claude Code preferred) to design, build, test, and support solutionsNice-to-Have SkillsFinancial domain experience, especially quant researchAPI developmentPowerBITo Apply Send resumes to sagar@glinttechsolutions.com
