CMM Operator/Light Programmer (PC-DMIS)

We are looking for a CMM operator with light CMM programming experience to start asap as a direct hire.ResponsibilitiesUtilize precision measuring instruments and special inspection equipment to inspect first-piece, in-process and final manufactured parts according to drawing specificationsOperate Coordinating Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform inspection proceduresDetermine acceptance or rejection of products based on requirementsNotify supervision of products failing to meet customer expectationsComplete all required documents and maintain records that pertain to quality controlWork at different work stations to meet production requirementsMaintain adequate supplies and a neat and orderly work areaMaintain tools and equipment in proper working order and perform preventative maintenance, as qualifiedMaintain the security and confidentiality of customers' products and documentationPlan inspection procedures and set-ups for surface table and related dial indicators, gauges, measuring devices and special equipment such as toolmaker microscopes, comparator contour reader and analyzers involving determinations of true positions and geometric tolerances of dimensionsWork with moderately complex processes and more difficult customer's expectations- able to use more independent judgment with some oversight by supervisionTroubleshoot all levels of problems and make recommendations for continuous improvementHas wide latitude for using independent judgment with minimal supervisory oversightQualificationsAbility to read, write and perform basic-intermediate mathCapable of operating CMMAbility to perform a wide array of inspection on most complex product buildsStrong analytical skills and problem-solving abilityAbility to understand blueprints and translate them into efficient work instructionsHigh School Diploma or GED;J-18808-Ljbffr
