This role involves operating a range of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, hot shots, etc. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial driving, route driving, and load & unload operations. If you own a truck and are looking to lease on with a reputable freight company, this opportunity provides a flexible and professional environment for skilled drivers committed to safety and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesExperience in one of various types of trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and hot shots, etc.Drive on designated routes ensuring timely delivery of freight across multiple locations.Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently (if required) adhering to safety protocols.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies.Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes or delivery issues.Assist in securing freight for transport using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.QualificationsValid CDL license (Class A or B) required; All drivers considered with relevant experience.Experience with operating different types of machinery (if required)Prior experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or hot shots is highly desirable.Delivery driver experience with freight handling is a plus.Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts is advantageous.Strong knowledge of route driving and load & unload procedures.Proven track record of safe driving practices in commercial settings.Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with trucking regulations.Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
