We're partnering with a growing, well‑established organization in the Portland area to hire a hands on Senior Property Accountant to support a property portfolio. This is a high‑impact role for someone who enjoys owning the details while helping keep a small accounting team running smoothly.This opportunity is ideal for a professional who is confident working independently, comfortable in Yardi, and motivated by real ownership rather than layers of oversight.What You'll DoOwn general ledger accounting and lead month‑end close for multiple propertiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform variance analysis and provide insights to leadership and property managersOversee high‑volume AP and AR, including invoice review, coding, and reconciliationsManage CAM reconciliations, payroll journal entries, and property billbacksSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysisServe as a key accounting partner to property managers, leadership, owners, and external partnersIdentify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and controlsAssist with audit preparation, 1099s, and special projects as neededWhat We're Looking For4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in property management or real estateYardi experience strongly preferred (Voyager or similar)Strong understanding of GAAP and property‑level financial reportingComfortable working in a small team with limited oversightDetail‑oriented, organized, and confident communicating with non‑accounting stakeholdersExperience handling multiple properties and competing deadlines All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
