Application capabilities within ourSolutions division include thermal bonding, web handling, force plotting, heat staking, high viscosity pumps, precisiondispensing, impulse bag sealing, and needle bending.DescriptionOperations Manager is a key member of the management team responsible for leading all operation and materialhandling activities. The ideal candidate will possess a continuous improvement mindset and have a passion for improvingoperation standards and process flow. Challenging Invio’s operations team to integrate sound manufacturing practicesinto the production of advanced industrial solutions will be a high priority. The individual must possess a sound technicalbackground, have a strong desire to develop talent, and be capable of managing multiple priorities and departments.Demonstrating exceptional customer service and responsiveness is a requirement. We strive to exceed expectations andensure all customers receive an exceptional experience at Invio.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of a large and complex plant comprised of multiple value streams and key functional areas. Achieve budgeted and strategic performance expectations in the areas of safety, quality, cost, delivery, and KPIs.Develops and executes a site master plan of the manufacturing facility as well as organizational capabilities, necessary to support future growth and achieve Invio’s strategic goals.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by reinforcing the importance of a 6S culture and actively supporting Invio’s safety committee and training.Adopt new technologies and implement lean manufacturing principles and the development of flexible production systems that can quickly adapt to changes in demand.Make informed decisions about how to allocate resources, including raw materials, labor, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize costs.Lead initiatives that strengthen the depth and capabilities required to expand Invio’s suite of solutions and marketability across multiple industries.Empowers team by way of training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals, and delegation to ensure the development of people and organizational capabilities.Operational and engineering technical depth to lead the implementation of operation standards across Invio’s suite of solutions.Coach and mentor direct reports by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify inefficiencies in the production process and to suggest ways to improve it.Proactively accomplish manufacturing results to ensure key milestone gates are achieved and customers receive turn-key solutions delivered right the first time. Conduct regular audits to ensure that the products being produced meet the required standards of quality and performance.Act as a role model of effective change management strategy, planning, and executions.Exhibit proactive performance by utilizing critical thinking, taking initiative, and implementing continuousimprovement initiatives.Demonstrate professionalism, and communicate appropriately both verbally and written with direct reports, colleagues, and customers.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive, with internal and externalcustomers and coworkers.
