Salesforce DeveloperTemecula, CA. On-site / hybrid. Full-time.About usRocket Lab is a small Salesforce consulting and implementation partner working with defense contractors and government-adjacent manufacturers. A lot of our work lands in Salesforce Government Cloud, which means we build under FedRAMP High, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and DFARS 252.204-7012.We are a small shop. Our developers talk to clients directly, own their projects start to finish, and see their code go live. There is no ticket queue and no layers of management between you and the person whose business you are changing. GovCloud experience is also genuinely hard to come by, so this is a good way to build a background that very few Salesforce developers have.CAGE 170Z9. UEI YXTMCQV1SLF8.What you will be doingBuilding and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions across client implementations, Government Cloud migrations, and our own AppExchange product work. Day to day that looks like:Writing and maintaining Apex: classes, triggers, batch and queueable jobs, with test coverage you would be comfortable defending.Building Lightning Web Components. Modernizing legacy Visualforce where it makes sense, maintaining it where it still works fine.Building integrations to ERP, PLM, and other line-of-business systems over REST and SOAP, including auth, error handling, and performance at real data volumes.Implementing declarative automation with Flows, validation rules, sharing, and the security model. Knowing when the answer is configuration instead of code.Supporting Government Cloud implementations and migrations, including the extra constraints that come with them.Taking a client requirement from the call through technical design to a tested, deployed release using sfdx and source control.Migrating and reconciling data. Troubleshooting performance, governor limits, and inherited customizations that nobody documented. What we are looking for3+ years building on the Salesforce platform, with production Apex and LWC you can walk us through in detail.Strong admin fundamentals: security model, profiles and permission sets, sharing rules, data model design.REST and SOAP integration experience, plus comfort with Git-based deployment (sfdx, Metadata API).Ability to work directly with clients. You should be able to run a requirements conversation without a translator.U.S. person, eligible to work on DoD-aligned programs. Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus. An active clearance is a bigger one.Based in or willing to relocate to the Temecula, Inland Empire, or North San Diego County area.Helpful but not requiredPlatform Developer I or II, Administrator, or App Builder certifications.Experience with Government Cloud, CPQ / Revenue Cloud, Field Service, or Experience Cloud.A background in manufacturing, defense, aerospace, or maritime.ISV or managed package development. How we workWe do not have a Temecula office yet, so this is hybrid for now.
