The role involves designing, developing, securing, and supporting enterprise APIs and integrations while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.Design, develop, and maintain APIs using IBM API ConnectImplement API mediation, routing, transformation, and security using IBM DataPower API GatewayDevelop and configure DataPower services such as:Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW)Web Service ProxyXML FirewallImplement API security mechanisms including:OAuth 2.0JWTAPI KeysMutual TLSDevelop custom logic using:XSLTGatewayScript (JavaScript)Create and manage OpenAPI / Swagger specificationsConfigure SSL/TLS, crypto profiles, certificates, and key management in DataPowerIntegrate APIs with backend systems such as:REST/SOAP servicesDatabasesIBM MQTroubleshoot and resolve API and gateway issues using logs, probes, and tracesSupport API lifecycle activities including deployment, versioning, and retirementCollaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments using CI/CD pipelinesEnsure compliance with enterprise security and governance standardsPrepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
