You will work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injury, surgery, and mobility limitations in a positive and patient-focused environment. Our treatment plans are one on one allowing a patient centered focus and approach.ResponsibilitiesProvide evidence-based treatments that help improve patients’ motion, mobility and overall wellnessThe Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment and manual techniques under the supervision of a Physical TherapistGuide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programsMonitor patient progressThe PTA is expected to manage a full caseload and complete all documentation required for patient care as per guidelines including HIPAAEducate patients on home exercise programsIdentify and address patients’ goals and needs through personalized careMaintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment areaYou will help patients restore motion, maintain safety and ultimately maximize their quality of lifeOther duties as assignedQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programActive New Jersey PTA license (or eligibility)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWorks as a team member and individually with minimal supervisionTeam-oriented and compassionate approach to patient careAbility to manage patients with different temperamentsWebPT EMR experience preferred, but not requiredThis Job Is Ideal ForPTAs seeking flexible hoursPTAs looking to supplement another positionNew graduates seeking outpatient experiencePTAs returning to the workforceApply Today
