What are we looking forAt Stone Systems (www.stone-systems.com) we are looking for a Brand Ambassador to generate countertop leads at Costco warehouses in the Minnesota area. We’re looking for someone with a friendly outgoing personality that is comfortable instigating conversations with the public. Dependability is crucial for this role. Our ideal candidate is ambitious and is always striving to do better and challenge themselves. They should be hungry to learn and willing & motivated to hunt out answers to customer questions.MUST BE OPEN TO WORK WEEKENDSTRANSPORTATIONWhat you will doThe Brand Ambassador is responsible for representing Stone Systems and generating Sales Leads in one of our biggest National Accounts: “Costco” by promoting Cosentino products. This person will conduct Roadshows in the Costco warehouses throughout the territory appointed, visiting a different warehouse each week depending on a calendar previously arranged. At the roadshow, the Brand Ambassador will interact with every customer that walks by their table and try different tactics to grab their interest and engage in a conversation. They will be expected to present the different Cosentino countertop products to the customer, answer their questions, and collect their information to generate a sales lead. Roadshows can be anywhere from 2-5 days and can last anywhere from 8-10 hours, depending on the day. Typical roadshows are Thursday through Sunday. The roadshow lasts from the time the warehouse opens to the time it closes and should generate between 6 to 10 leads a day. These leads will then be converted into a sales appointment which will be attended by an In-Home Sales Consultant to close the sale.Job ExpectationsSetup, attend & breakdown roadshows at Costco warehouses according to planned schedules.Generate qualified Leads through interaction with the customers in the warehouse that can be converted into salesEnter Leads into a lead tracking software including correct contact information and the materials the customer is interested inFollow up on leads entered weekly, to determine if they’ve converted into appointments and were soldSubmit daily reports through a tablet with a summary of your day & what was accomplished at the Roadshow.Engage with every customer as they’re walking byCreate a customized sales pitch to engage customers & start a conversationPromote new colors and applications as they’re launchedProvide product knowledge to the customers and answer their questionsCreate a relationship with the Management team at every warehouse and keep the contact database updatedOther tasks as assigned by management.What you need to succeedEXPERIENCEExperience as a promoter of products or servicesBackground in sales, design, retail or hospitality (1-2 years)EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma/ GEDKNOWLEDGEProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Basic knowledge of apple products (iphone/ipad)Ability to quickly learn softwareKnowledge of countertops, cabinets, residential remodeling, or related industry experienceSKILLSWell-developed verbal & written communication skillsCapacity to multitaskHighly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamCustomer service orientedAbility to type professional emails in Outlook on a tabletQuick learner & high knowledge retentionAbility to lift and carry up to 30 lbsBe able to stand for 8 hours or more a dayPREFERRED BEHAVIOURSSelf-ConfidentFriendlyEnthusiasticDependableOutgoingAmbitiousFlexibleProfessionalHungry to learnWhat we do offerJob Type:· Full TimePay:· 18-20 per hourFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.· This position includes a set monthly vehicle allowance to cover travel & vehicle expenses.· This position is eligible for a bonus when a Lead is successfully converted into a Sales Appointment, and when the Sales Appointment results in a closed Sale.
