Maintenance Manager

Title: Maintenance Manager Position Type: Contract Location: Louisiana Key Project Requirements Experience improving maintenance programs, work management, and outage readiness within power generation facilities Strong background with CMMS platforms, PM optimization, planning/scheduling, and maintenance system development Ability to mentor plant maintenance leadership and help transition a newly commissioned facility into stable long-term operations Job Summary NAES is supporting a combined-cycle power plant seeking a Maintenance Manager to help strengthen maintenance systems, improve outage readiness, and establish sustainable work management practices following commercial operation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong maintenance and reliability background within power generation and experience supporting PM optimization, CMMS improvement, planning/scheduling, and maintenance process development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate existing maintenance programs, work management practices, and CMMS structure to identify gaps and improvement opportunities Support optimization of preventive maintenance (PM) programs, equipment hierarchies, and maintenance workflows Assist with planning, scheduling, and outage readiness activities in preparation for upcoming outages Mentor and support plant maintenance leadership, planners, and maintenance personnel Improve maintenance planning discipline, backlog management, and coordination between maintenance and operations teams Support development and standardization of maintenance procedures, job plans, and best practices Provide recommendations to improve plant reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and long-term operational readiness Work collaboratively with plant leadership to help establish sustainable maintenance processes and organizational structure Job Requirements Strong maintenance and reliability experience within combined-cycle, gas turbine, or other power generation facilities Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, JD Edwards, or similar systems Knowledge of PM optimization, work management, planning/scheduling, and outage readiness processes Experience supporting newly commissioned facilities, plant startups, or post-COD operational transitions preferred Ability to assess maintenance processes and implement practical improvements within an operating facility Education / Experience: 10+ years of maintenance, reliability, or plant operations leadership experience within power generation facilities preferred Combined-cycle, gas turbine, or utility power plant experience strongly preferred Prior experience in maintenance leadership, reliability engineering, outage management, or work management roles preferred
