Brief DescriptionReporting to the Simio Engineering Manager, the Senior Software Engineer is a key contributor on the Simio Engineering team within the SimioCloud division of Moore. This role focuses on building and maintaining SimioApp, an internally used web application that supports data ingestion, modeling, scoring, and activation across the organization.SimioApp is built using an Angular, C#, and .NET UI, with Python-based backend services integrated with Snowflake and SQL-based data workflows. This role works closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Data Science to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.This is a full-time, salaried, US-based remote position.Moore is a data-driven constituent experience management (CXM) company achieving accelerated growth for clients through integrated supporter experiences across all platforms, channels and devices. We are an innovation-led company that is the largest marketing, data and fundraising company in North America serving the purpose-driven industry with clients across education, association, political and commercial sectors.Check out www.WeAreMoore.com for more information.Your Impact:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain SimioApp, a C#/.NET UI-based application with Angular on the front end Support Python-based APIs and services integrated with Snowflake and SQL workflowsImplement cloud-based solutions – with a preference for Azure – to ensure scalability and performanceTake technical ownership of assigned features or projects and see them through to completionDesign and utilize relational databases to store and retrieve vast amounts of data efficientlyWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with engineering standardsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to shared technical qualityCommunicate effectively with team members, QA, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholdersCollaborate with Product Management to translate requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and delivery processesTroubleshoot production issues and support operational stabilityTroubleshoot and resolve software defects, system issues, and performance bottlenecksProvide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping elevate team performanceEnsure solutions meet organizational standards for security, performance, compliance, and scalabilityStay current with emerging technologies and industry trendsYour Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of professional software engineering experienceUnderstanding and use of object-oriented development conceptsStrong experience with C#/.NET and modern web application developmentExperience with Angular or similar front-end frameworksWorking knowledge of SQL and relational data modelingFamiliarity with Snowflake or cloud-based data platformsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independentlyClear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlinesCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholdersProven experience delivering complex business applications and services in a professional environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with Azure and/or AWSExperience building Python-based APIs and servicesDocker and Kubernetes experienceExperience with data-centric or analytics-driven applicationsCI/CD and modern DevOps practicesExperience with JIRA or similar toolsHow We’ll Support You:Join the largest marketing and fundraising company in North America serving the nonprofit industry, where we prioritize innovation and professional growth.Collaborate with industry subject matter experts with over 5,000 employees across the enterprise.
