Job Title: IT Field Support Technician (Onsite) Location: Salisbury, NC (Onsite) Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension) Pay Rate: $25–$30/hourJob Overview: We are seeking a dependable and hands-on IT Field Support Technician to provide onsite technical support in Salisbury, NC. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and basic IT/mechanical aptitude who can follow established procedures to install, configure, and support equipment and systems in a customer-facing environment.Key Responsibilities:Set up, install, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of IT equipment and systems at customer sitesRead and interpret technical diagrams, setup instructions, and documentation to properly configure equipmentAdjust system and device settings to ensure optimal performance and accuracyPerform hardware installations, upgrades, and basic configurations (PCs, peripherals, networking equipment, etc.)Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues following established guidelines and proceduresDocument work performed and escalate complex issues to senior support or managementEnsure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standardsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical training, certification, or relevant IT support experience preferredBasic understanding of IT concepts, hardware, and troubleshooting practicesAbility to read and follow technical documentation and diagramsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processesGood communication and customer service skillsWork Environment:Onsite, hands-on role supporting customer equipment and systemsWorks under direct supervision with guidance from a supervisor or managerRelies on established procedures and instructions to complete tasks
