Building Maintenance
RACW is seeking a full-time experienced maintenance professional to join our team as a Building Superintendent for elderly housing facilities located in the Mon Valley Area. The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform a variety of duties related to building maintenance to include general repairs, mechanical repairs, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, housekeeping, grounds keeping and snow removal.

Responsibilities:
Observe and monitor the building systems, maintaining the preventative maintenance schedule of those systems to ensure their proper operation.
Identify and possible repair of the heating/cooling units, lighting fixtures, appliances, toilets and faucets.
Complete apartment vacancy turnovers in a timely manner.
Prepare building for inspections and follow through with documentation.
Clean common areas and building trash removal.
Perform common area floor cleaning including stripping, waxing and polishing, vacuuming and shampooing.
Maintain building grounds including grass cutting and snow removal to ensure safety and a good appearance to the general public.
Ensure all outside contractor work for quality and applicable standards.
Undertake additional duties as required.

Effective time management, meeting deadlines consistently.
Ability to multi-task and coordinate projects with accuracy and efficiency.
Basic understanding of operating and maintaining power equipment.
General knowledge in a variety of areas, including but not limited to, construction, plumbing, painting, landscaping and janitorial duties.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must have basic computer skills.
Any combination of training and work experience may be acceptable.
