Investment Associate - Asset Management

Role SummaryThe Associate / Senior Associate will primarily support the asset management and performance monitoring of the firm's residential development portfolio while also assisting with underwriting and evaluation of new investment opportunities. The role requires a technically strong real estate professional who can analyze asset performance, support investment diligence, and contribute to portfolio-level decision making.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze monthly operating reports, financial statements, and variance reports provided by third-party property management firms.Monitor project performance relative to underwriting assumptions and identify operational or financial risks.Participate in leasing, operations, and construction update calls with property management teams and development partners.Review construction draw requests and assist with monitoring construction progress and development budgets.Analyze annual operating budgets and assist with internal portfolio forecasting.Support internal reporting and financial analysis across the residential portfolio.Investment & Development AnalysisAssist with financial underwriting and analysis for new residential development opportunities and joint venture investments.Review offering materials from potential development partners and prepare financial pro forma models.Support due diligence including market analysis and preparation of investment committee materials.Review joint venture agreements, loan documents, and development contracts alongside internal teams and external advisors.Maintain and improve internal financial models and analytical tools used across the investment platform.Relationship & Internal CollaborationMaintain relationships with developers, brokers, lenders, consultants, and market participants.Collaborate internally across investment, development, and finance teams to support project execution and portfolio monitoring.Requirements3–7 years of experience within real estate investment, development, or asset management.Experience working with multifamily or residential assets preferred.Strong financial modeling and underwriting capabilities.Working knowledge of real estate development and joint venture investment structures.Advanced Excel proficiency and strong command of Microsoft Office tools.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Comfortable operating within a lean team structure.Please apply today for immediate consideration.J-18808-Ljbffr
