Warehouse Associate

Job Description Location: United States - Valparaiso, IN About PHP We are a family-owned, wholesale distributor of products into the rental industry, primarily with concentrations in general tool and party & event. We started our business in 1981 and we ship all over the country from our warehouse in Valparaiso. Job Summary We're looking for an energetic and hard-working warehouse associate to join our team! Our warehouse team works together to re-stock items, pick orders, package the orders, and get them shipped out in a timely matter to keep our customers happy and satisfied! Key Job Responsibilities Re-stocking items as they arrive in correct locations in the warehouse As orders print out, locating the items on the order and picking them for packaging Packaging orders as they are picked and getting them ready for shipping Organizing truck or LTL orders on pallets and preparing them for shipping Organizing and cleaning the warehouse Requirements of Position Forklift experience is preferred but not a requirement Some prior warehouse experience is preferred Work in a team environment to prepare shipments and ship them out in a timely manner Well-organized with ability to Multi-task between preparing shipments, and loading and unloading trucks. May involve some heavy lifting at times Knowledge and comfort of using a Windows-based PC Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
