As a Business Operations & Accounting Associate, you will support financial operations, accounting processes, and HR administration within a dynamic financial services and wealth management organization. You will work directly with senior leadership to enhance operational efficiency, maintain financial accuracy, and contribute to strategic decision-making in a regulated investment advisory environment. We value our team members and their families and believe in supporting healthy, balanced, and financially confident lives.To succeed, you should have:Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with accounting coursework3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience; experience in financial services or wealth management preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.Solid knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and financial reporting, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to adapt to business technology systems and handle confidential financial and HR information with discretion.Your responsibilities as a Business Operations & Accounting Associate will include:Administer payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations within a financial services environment.Perform commission reconciliation with broker/dealers, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks accounting software.Reconcile bank statements and corporate credit cards, enter financial transactions, and prepare monthly financial reports to support executive decision-making and compliance.Support budget planning and forecasting, assist with leadership meeting coordination, and contribute to operational reporting and business performance tracking.Assist with HR administration, including employee onboarding, benefits coordination, employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and cross-functional business projects.About UsFounded in 1989, Prosperity Advisors is a full-service financial planning team committed to helping clients pursue their life goals with confidence.
