Embedded / Flight Software Engineer – Space Systems (LEO / Avionics)Ready to help build next-generation space infrastructure that makes global connectivity secure, scalable, and actionable? We’re building a new class of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite systems designed from the ground up for resilience, autonomy, and cost efficiency. Our engineering team is redefining how space systems are architected - moving beyond legacy spacecraft design toward highly networked, software-defined platformWe’re looking for an Embedded / Flight Software Engineer to design and implement mission-critical software for space systems operating across bare-metal, RTOS, and real-time Linux environments. What you’ll work onDesign and develop flight software for spacecraft subsystems (power, thermal, TTC, GNC, FDIR, CFDP)Build and optimize real-time embedded systems in C/C++Implement and debug space and avionics protocols (UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, SpaceWire)Design fault-tolerant Ethernet-based avionics networks (redundancy, L2 fabrics, deterministic networking)Develop secure update, memory, and process management systemsBuild HIL/SIL/PIL test frameworks and automation pipelinesDebug real-world systems using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)What you bringStrong experience in embedded software development (C/C++)Hands-on background in real-time systems and hardware integrationFamiliarity with embedded Linux / RTOS (Yocto a plus)Understanding of communication protocols (UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, TCP/UDP)Experience with debugging tools and version control (Git)Proven ability to deliver reliable software in high-integrity or mission-critical environments
