Tax Accountant

Job Description The Atlantic Group has partnered with an investment management firm in the Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for a Tax Accountant to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance. Summary: Searching for a Tax Accountant to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have strong experience preparing both Partnership and Individual tax returns and be comfortable working in a fast-paced investment firm environment. Work Schedule: Hybrid Responsibilities-Prepare and review Partnership and Individual tax returns-Assist with tax preparation, reporting, and supporting documentation-Work with financial data and schedules to ensure accurate tax filings-Support tax compliance and filing deadlines during peak tax periods-Coordinate with internal teams and external tax professionals as needed-Assist with ad hoc tax and accounting projects Qualifications-Minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience-Strong experience with Partnership tax returns-Experience preparing Individual tax returns-Prior experience within public accounting, financial services, hedge fund, private equity, or investment management environments preferred-Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines Note: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 3 business days of application.
