DevOps Engineer - TS/SCI

Overview In this role you contribute to designing, deploying and maintaining a containerized microservices stack, while providing systems administration and automation support. You will foster a DevOps culture and collaborate across systems engineering, architecture, development, security, and operations to deliver scalable, resilient infrastructure. You’ll work on a production big data pipeline using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka, and continuously improve CI/CD processes. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a clear impact on deployment velocity and reliability. ResponsibilitiesDeploy, triage and maintain a production big data pipeline on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and KafkaEnhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps scripts for faster, more reliable deploymentsDesign, develop and support scalable, redundant infrastructure (physical and virtualized)Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments to support new featuresCollaborate with System Engineers on feature design and requirementsContribute input to systems engineering docs and diagrams with SE and Architect teamsParticipate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, and design sessions Key requirementsBS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 8+ years in software development or related field6+ years of experience with a Master’s degreeActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with PolygraphProficiency navigating Linux OSExperience with container orchestration, specifically KubernetesSkilled with CI/CD pipeline orchestration and GitlabFamiliarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, KibanaCross-functional planning, coordination and task executioncross-functional collaborationadaptability in a fast-paced environmenteffective communicationKubernetesHelmGitlab
