Precision CNC Technician

About the Role As a Precision CNC Technician, you will play a vital role in transforming raw materials into high-precision components that drive industrial performance. You will leverage your technical expertise in programming and machine operation to ensure every part meets rigorous quality standards while optimizing production workflows. Responsibilities Execute complex CNC machine setups and changeovers to maximize production throughput. Translate technical blueprints and schematics into high-quality finished products. Develop and refine CNC programs using G-code and M-code to enhance machining efficiency. Utilize Fanuc, Mazak, and Mazatrol controls to manage multi-axis milling and turning operations. Perform precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, and advanced gauges to guarantee adherence to GD&T specifications. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and long-term operational success. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production challenges and improve manufacturing processes. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent with a strong mechanical aptitude. Demonstrated experience in CNC operation, including setup and programming. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings and blueprints. Solid understanding of precision measurement tools and hand metrology. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills Technical degree or specialized certification in machining or manufacturing technology. Direct experience with oilfield manufacturing or similar heavy-duty industrial sectors. Advanced knowledge of 5-axis machining and complex tooling strategies. Proven track record of maintaining high-tolerance standards in high-volume production.
