Operations Supervisor, Special Process 1st Shift (Onsite)
Job TitleCompressions Systems Module Center (CSMC) is seeking a highly motivated, technically talented individual, who has a true desire to lead and coach in a dynamic operations environment to support our Special Process / Shared Services business units.This role reports to the Operations Manager and will be supporting 1st shift operations. Typical working hours are 6:30AM 4:00PM, Monday Friday. Training is available and may be required on our 1st shift for up to 3 months.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding direction to skilled bargaining unit employees.Leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts.Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction.Perform daily supervisor responsibilities including project management, effective communication and execution with support group members.Establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability and other priorities.Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes.Demonstrate a 100% dedication to Quality, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and continuous improvement.Understanding and ability to drive quality and customer satisfaction through our CORE operating system (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence).Qualifications You Must HaveAdvanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Business Operations Management, Engineering, Aerospace or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 9+ years of relevant industry experienceQualifications We PreferDegree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)Personnel management experience, particularly within a bargaining unit / union workforce environment.Proven ability to lead mentoring, coaching, developing talent and motivate teams to achieve business goals.Ability to read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and engineering drawings.Organizational and project management skills, PMP certification preferred.Aftermarket Aerospace and Overhaul and Repair (MRO) industry experienceWorking knowledge of shop practices, quality standards, processes and proceduresUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, QCPC and RCCA).Experience using Microsoft Office, SAP, MRP materials management, and MS Office Suite.Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel and customersThis role is:Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
