CNC Laser Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC operations, with expertise in laser cutting and a variety of machining processes. This role is essential for ensuring the precision and quality of our fabricated products, contributing to the overall efficiency of our production line. Duties Operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Set up and calibrate CNC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members in the assembly of components and fabrication processes. Utilize hand tools and machinery including press brake machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutting equipment, and stamping presses as needed. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure operational efficiency. Skills Proficient in CNC laser cutting operations with a solid understanding of CNC programming. Familiarity with and ability to read and follow blueprint specifications. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments. Competent in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Skilled in using hand tools, tooling, and precision measuring instruments for quality assurance. Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes is preferred. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely.
