Our client is seeking a Sr. Construction Estimator.MUST HAVEExperience in Commercial ConstructionHigh End Residential ProjectsMust be local to Ventura County (No exceptions)A well-established general contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator with strong experience in commercial construction and high-end residential projects. This role is dedicated to estimating and preconstruction, supporting multi-million-dollar builds from concept through final bid.If you are a detail-oriented construction estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on complex, high-value projects, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates for large-scale construction projectsReview plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure complete project scope coverageSolicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bidsDevelop project budgets, cost breakdowns, and value engineering solutionsCollaborate with project managers and internal teams during preconstruction phasesMaintain organized estimating files, bid documentation, and historical cost dataParticipate in bid reviews and respond to technical and pricing inquiriesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in construction estimatingProven track record estimating multi-million-dollar commercial and luxury residential projectsStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesAbility to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities simultaneouslyTechnical SkillsExperience with estimating and takeoff software (Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk, Smartsheet)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of WordStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skillsEducationBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation & BenefitsFull-time direct hire opportunityHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time offRetirement planWork EnvironmentMonday to FridayOn-site role in Ventura, CA (commutable distance required)
