Through our community program "SNIPES serves" and its localized approach we support the needs of our communities, empower, and celebrate our dynamic culture.Overview: Reporting to the Director of DC Operations, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees and manages the day-to-day tasks assigned to the maintenance team at SNIPES Philadelphia Distribution Center.ResponsibilitiesAssign daily responsibilities and tasks to the maintenance team including routine maintenance for: facilities: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairsAutomation equipment: conveyor maintenance, Preventative Maintenance (PMs), repair, replacement, etc.Conduct regular inspections of the distribution center including truck yard, exterior, and interior, etc. to identify potential issues and report to the maintenance managerMaintain training documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Provide feedback on associates performance and provide coaching as needed.Monitor and manage employee time, attendance, and payrollAssist development of Excel spreadsheet trackers and other documentsTrack labor time spent executing tasks and idle timeMonitor radio, email, and other communication methods for maintenance requests (first point of contact)Provide status and information reports as requiredTrack equipment and machinery downtime, repairs, etc.Develop and implement preventive maintenance proceduresMaintain a safe, clean and neat working environment ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance protocolsInspect completed work to ensure qualityOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred, but not required2+ years of Maintenance experience as a Supervisor working in a Distribution CenterExcel experience is required: formatting, use of formulas, conditional formatting, and pivot tables.Experience supervising a team of up to 10 associatesFacilities and/or Conveyor Maintenance knowledge are requiredStrong mechanical, electrical, or controls aptitude requiredExperience managing vendors a plusMust have a satisfactory knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in general maintenance workPallet rider and forklift certification is preferred but not required, will train if necessaryWillingness to learn, self-motivation, strong problem-solving skills, and solid interpersonal communications skills are required.The ability to multi-task and prioritize work that is assigned by the managerWorking Conditions:This role is based in the distribution centerThis position is onsite, Monday-Friday.Cultural Success FactorsEnthusiasm for the brandConsumer ObsessedInnovative MindsetCollaborative natureSkillful communicatorData-Driven Decision MakingAdaptable and FlexibleDisciplined and self-motivatedBenefits with SNIPESGenerous Employee DiscountPaid HolidaysPTO (Paid Time Off)Bonus PlanAffordable Health InsuranceRetirement ContributionsSnipes USA and all its subsidiary Companies are equal opportunity employers.
