IT Systems Engineer (M&A Integration)

About the RoleOur client is a fast-growing healthcare technology company seeking a hands-on IT Systems Engineer to support its internal infrastructure across identity, endpoints, networking, automation, and Tier 2/3 escalations.This role will also play a key part in mergers and acquisitions, helping integrate acquired companies into the organization’s technology environment, including migrating users, devices, identity/access, applications, and network connectivity from legacy systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, or similar identity platforms, including SSO, MFA, provisioning/deprovisioning, and access management.Manage Windows and Mac endpoints using Intune, Jamf, or similar MDM platforms, including patching and security policies.Support network infrastructure including VPN, DNS, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting.Support M&A IT integrations, including evaluating legacy environments and migrating acquired companies onto standardized networks, systems, identity platforms, and applications.Resolve complex Tier 2/3 infrastructure and systems issues.Automate IT processes using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting technologies.Partner with Security on endpoint compliance, vulnerability remediation, access controls, and audit requirements.Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and IT procedures.Qualifications3+ years of hands-on Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or Corporate IT experience.Strong experience with Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and identity lifecycle management.Experience with Intune, Jamf, or similar endpoint management technologies.Working knowledge of VPNs, DNS, firewalls, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting.Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Experience supporting mixed Windows and Mac environments.Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.PreferredExperience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or IT environment integrations.Experience migrating users, endpoints, applications, identity, or networks between corporate environments.Exposure to SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar compliance environments.Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Rippling, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Zoom.
