Work on grid modernization + renewablesLong-term pipeline of transmission workAbout Our ClientWe are partnering with a leading engineering firm at the forefront of grid modernization, renewable integration, and large-scale transmission expansion across the U.S. With a strong backlog of projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV, this team plays a critical role in strengthening and expanding the nation's power grid.Job DescriptionDesign and support transmission line projects from 69kV, 115kV, 138kV, 230kV, 345kV up to 500kVPerform line routing, structure spotting, and profile development for grid expansion projectsConduct engineering analysis including sag & tension, thermal ratings, and clearance studiesSupport grid interconnection projects (solar, wind, battery storage)Develop construction drawings, specifications, and material takeoffsEnsure compliance with NERC, NESC, ASCE, and IEEE standardsCollaborate with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and internal engineering teamsSupport system upgrades, reconductoring, and grid hardening initiativesAssist with permitting, environmental coordination, and constructability reviewsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
