This role is for someone who can take complex industry inputs and turn them into cohesive, compelling narratives that captivate audiences — on stage, on screen, and beyond.If you thrive on process, precision, creative leadership, and the adrenaline of live execution — and you love shaping conversations that matter — this role was made for you.What You’ll Do:Own the Narrative & the ShowYou’ll serve as the producer and content lead for major IAB marketplace events — responsible for shaping the attendee experience from first idea to final applause.Lead end-to-end content development, synthesizing insights from IAB members and internal subject-matter expertsDesign a clear, audience-first narrative that flows across sessions, speakers, and formatsOwn the full run of show — from concept development and scripting through rehearsals, show calling, and live executionOperate as a showrunner-style producer, managing multiple stakeholder segments while maintaining tone, pacing, and narrative cohesionMake real-time decisions during live events to protect quality, flow, and audience engagementDrive Production ExcellenceYou’ll partner closely with production, marketing, programming, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution.Align creative vision with logistics, AV, talent, cues, and transitionsLead rehearsals, proactively identifying risks and tightening transitionsManage timelines, approvals, and last-minute changes with calm authorityDeliver polished, broadcast-quality experiences across virtual and in-person formatsLead Member & Speaker ExperienceYou’ll be the primary point of contact for speakers, sponsors, and members — delivering a white-glove experience throughout the event lifecycle.Manage end-to-end speaker and sponsor coordination, including session details, assets, and run-of-show inputsCreate and maintain event schedules and agendas for internal and external promotionLead logistics communications, prep calls, rehearsals, and speaker briefingsServe as a trusted partner to senior executives, ensuring clarity, confidence, and preparednessDevelop Thought Leadership ContentIn partnership with the Senior Director, you’ll help shape the intellectual backbone of IAB events.Co-develop thought-leadership programming for IAB’s flagship conferences and eventsCurate speaker prospect lists across key industry verticalsAct as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to build compelling, sponsorable programsBalance editorial integrity with revenue-driving opportunitiesWho You AreA seasoned event producer or programmer with 5+ years of experience in conferences, live events, or broadcast-style productionDeeply knowledgeable about the digital media, advertising, and marketing ecosystemA natural storyteller who can translate complex topics into engaging narrativesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressureComfortable engaging senior industry executives and managing diverse stakeholdersExperienced in show calling, directing, and technical production, with strong AV fluencyEqually effective working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWhy You’ll Love IAB✨ You shape industry-defining conversations The content you produce influences how the digital advertising ecosystem thinks, acts, and evolves.✨ You own the experience This is a true producer role — with creative authority, operational ownership, and visibility from start to finish.✨ You work with the best in the business From CMOs and agency leaders to creators, platforms, and innovators, you’ll collaborate with voices that matter.✨ You blend creativity with precision You’ll get to flex both sides of your brain — storytelling and structure, vision and execution.✨ You’re part of something bigger IAB is mission-driven, collaborative, and committed to helping the industry thrive in the digital economy.If you’re energized by live storytelling, production rigor, and shaping moments that move an industry forward, we’d love to meet you.Additional Information:All IAB employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment and, therefore, prior to job offer and hire.
