Shipping Technician - Swing Shift

Shipping Technician As a Shipping Technician, you are responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment by ensuring accuracy, quality, and on time delivery. If you're excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoPackage customer orders using appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe and accurate deliveryDetermine optimal package size and shipping method based on order contents and requirementsVerify part counts and perform final visual inspections to ensure orders meet quality standardsPrepare pallets for efficient freight shipmentsProcess shipping documentation and update shipment details in internal systemsAssist with department inventory tracking and basic inventory control tasksCollaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they ariseMaintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principlesPerform other related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious shipping, receiving, or warehouse experienceAbility to follow work instructions and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and qualityBasic computer skills and ability to use shipping or inventory systemsAbility to use measuring devices and basic hand toolsCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in packaging products for parcel or freight shipmentsFamiliarity with inventory control processesForklift or pallet jack experienceExperience working in a manufacturing or production environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shiftsAbility to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing and production floor environmentWork performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipmentExposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required protective equipment at all timesUse of skin packing machineUse of custom box making machineBenefitsMedical, Dental, & Vision coveragePaid holidays + PTO401K with company matchTuition reimbursementPaid parental leaveShort-term disabilityLunch provided dailyScheduleMonday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am
