Job description Full Job Description (RN) Registered Nurse Washington Rehab and Nursing Center is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who is committed to providing the very best and safest care to our patients/residents. This RN will supervise the day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, current federal, state, and local standards, to ensure the highest quality of care is always maintained. RN– Available Schedules: 7AM-7PM 7PM-7AM RN– Benefit Enrollment Opportunities: Major Medical, Dental, Vision Earn Sick Leave 401K Life and AD&D Insurance Short Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance Future career advancement opportunities RN– Responsibilities: Direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care center Assist in planning the nursing services portion of the residents’ discharge plans as required Complete accident/incident reports as necessary Chart nurses’ notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the residents, as well as the residents’ responses to the care Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and as required by center policy Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary and in accordance with established policies Ensure that narcotics are handled in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and as required by center policy and that narcotic records are accurate for your shift Make daily rounds of your unit/shift to ensure that nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards Notify the residents’ attending physicians and next-of-kin when there is a change in the residents’ conditions or if the residents are involved in an incident or accident Attend and participate in all center in-service programs as required RN – Qualifications: MUST hold a current and valid RN license in the state employed Long term care/post-acute care setting preferred Completion of postsecondary education Capable of maintaining regular attendance (i.e., weekend shifts and overtime) as required Job Type: Full-time/Part-Time Shift Differential Medical specialties: Geriatrics Physical setting: Long term care Rehabilitation center Weekly schedule: 3- 12 hour shifts per week Rotating weekends License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN (Required) Work Location: One location Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Vision insurance Medical specialties: Geriatrics Physical setting: Long term care Rehabilitation center Standard shift: Night shift Day shift Weekly schedule: 3x12 Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
