Mechanical Estimation Engineer

Position: Estimating Engineer I or IIReports To: Estimating SupervisorBasic Functions: Prepare technical bids for heat exchangers and pressure vessels. Major Duties:Basic design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.Prepare material requirements for each component designed. Estimate labor hours to fabricate the component/vessel/exchanger.Write technical proposal for submittal to customer.Qualifications:Knowledge – Bachelor’s degree of Science in Engineering.Skills – Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications. Exceptional communication skills, including technical writing.
